Summary of Internship
At Merrill Lynch, I have attended various client meetings with my mentor and worked on specific client profiles that my mentor analyzes. I learned a lot about communication and organization skills, which are extremely important in the work force. I created my own specific client profile including imaginary clients with invented assets and liabilities. From this project, I learned the financial management process that my mentor follows; these exercises were extremely educational. I also worked on a specific prospecting project. (Prospecting is known as the processes of searching for new potential clients.) This project gave me the opportunity to realize the importance of one’s clients and how forming relationships and connections with others is a key objective.
