The hospital is a renowned organization that emphasizes on quality patient care and it continues to proliferate as a model hospital for the Bergen County area.
Summary of Internship
As Dr. Dardikís, the chief of Vascular Surgery, intern, I was able to observe a variety of departments in the hospital. His position of power allowed me to be involved in departments such as Pathology, the Vascular Lab and operating room, Emergency Room, and Blood Bank. For the most part, I was only able to observe the surgeries and other procedures. On the positive side, there is no filling or other tedious work in any areas that I have gone. Occasionally, we have a meeting with Dr. Dardik to see our progress. The wealth of knowledge that I received in this internship was more beneficial than any class I have been too. Experience is the most efficient way to learn.
