The hospitalís goal is to exceed their patientís expectations. They do this by having over five hundred beds, making the transition from hospital to home more appeasing and simple. The support staff at Englewood Hospital is over fifteen thousand people, and they are the largest employer in the area. This hospital is best known for its cardiac and bloodless surgery programs, and is highly regarded as one of the top hospitals in the U.S.

Summary of Internship

I decided to do my internship at EHMC because they are committed to providing quality care for their patients and I felt that I will have the most worthwhile experience here. As an intern at this hospital, I am able to be involved in observing a variety of different departments: Courtesy, Infusion, Rehab Medicine, and the emergency room. The experience is mostly visual which, allows you to fully comprehend the various professions in the medical field. Englewood Hospital is a wonderful place to intern if you want to venture into medicine. The experience here is endless.
