Summary of Internship

As an Assistant Joint Aviation Authority Focal and Records Auditor, interning at FlightSafety International Teterboro comes with a lot of responsibility. I was warmly welcomed into the aviation training team and given my personal workplace along with a computer in the Records Department. I was assigned to carefully audit records for pilots as well as flight attendants. Aside from office work, I was given the opportunity to virtually fly in a Level D simulator. My mentor sacrificed two hours of his busy schedule every week to give me ground school training in aviation. This rigorous course covered complex material from Aerodynamics to Aerospace Physiology and even Federal Aviation Administration regulations needed to safely operate an aircraft. Interning in such a prestigious corporation and being a part of a team where you are given the opportunity to learn as well as ensure the flight crew’s safety has confirmed my dream of being a pilot. My internship has truly given me the assistance, confidence, and knowledge I need to succeed in my field of studies.
