Summary of Internship
During my time in the office I have certainly gotten a full experience of what the Community Outreach Department is all about. I went to several events like Zoo-Boo, Thanks 4 Giving Plunge, and the Wallington Police Parade, that gave me real taste of what my officers go through on a daily basis that shows that they care for their community. Besides those events my mentors have shown us what a true person in the Community Outreach department can do to ensure safety throughout the community. Some of the roles that I have are calling seniors who are part of the Senior GoldStar I.D program, making phone calls to organizations to organize presentations for the Sheriff, and doing other daily tasks that are essential to overall security of the community.
