Summary of Internship

At my internship I take the role as a veterinary technician, aiding the doctor in treating the patients and caring for them. From checking their temperatures, to clipping nails, my job is very hands on. I hold down various animals for different procedures and treatments. This job also has its moments away from the medical field where we must investigate and get deep into the owner’s personal life and schedule to understand where the health of the pet was compromised. When the job isn’t filled with medical, and investigative work its filled with cleaning waste and getting your hands dirty.
