Summary of Internship
The internship at Max.md offered me an opportunity to further my knowledge of information technology. Since the commencement of internship I began to work in a Linux operating system. The exposure to Fedora 13 expanded my knowledge of operating systems beyond the conventional Windows and Macintosh. At internship, I focus on Internet marketing which consists of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), managing press releases, and updating social networks. I have simulated the user experience by testing several of the services that Max.md provides. My work at internship is very diverse, some days I do light HTML coding or quality assurance of coding. I often install Linux operating system to new machines. Aside from the technology based work, a few times I have been asked to do spreadsheets. The spreadsheets display generated metrics derived from site analytics. My mentor and fellow workers are very casual with each other, creating a comfortable working environment. All the tasks I have completed have broadened my knowledge regarding the field of technology.
