Summary of Internship
As an intern at Michael Kors, I worked with the fabric and color department. The job as an intern in this field consists of filing and organizing fabric for each season. This process is done using each fabric from that seasonís fabric code and also the fabric agent. Fabric agents are companies that help communicate with the mills that make the fabric. Each season is also divided by woven and knit fabric. This job also consists of organizing approved lb dips by season, knits or woven, and color. Lastly, an intern on the fabric team at Michael Kors helps with making fabric boards, which show all the fabric of a season and are organized by season, type of fabric, and color.
