Summary of Internship
Though I am only a high schooler, I was given the opportunity to intern at Progressive Promotions, a company which usually hires only college juniors and seniors. At my internship I am given various tasks, ranging from tedious to exciting but all these tasks require patience, tenacity, and a positive attitude. At my internship I am given a taste of the real business world, it is up to me to analyze markets, create spreadsheets, and look at bills. At my internship, though some tasks are tedious, my mentor Mr. Brian Holland makes it a point to tell me how each task I am completing plays a vital role in the prosperity of the business. Through my mentor and the internship as a whole, I have been given the ability to tackle, the “big scary business world” with a handful of experience.
