Background Information

PRANA is an integrated marketing and media relations firm offering a full suite of services for entertainment properties, music artists, theaters, brands, corporations, small businesses and healthcare. PRANA understands the increasing shift of power for consumers in the ever-changing world they live in particularly the new digital space, and can quickly and effectively tailor one’s message so that it will be seen and heard through the all media outlets. Utilizing all distribution channels, PRANA is a one-stop agency that produces results. Through traditional, digital and new media, PRANA creates strategic marketing campaigns that include publicity, advertising, on-line marketing, social media, graphic design, copy writing, website design, advertising placement and production for (radio, television and print) thus creating a brand identity. What sets PRANA apart from other agencies? PRANA is known for connecting clients with opportunities. PRANA will develop the right solutions to insure that the message is delivered and received by the proper demographic. PRANA has so many clients from big names like Cadillac and Missy Elliot to smaller names like The BergenPAC and Taste-d-lite. Recently they have been getting a lot of new music artist like the RokFairies an all-girl group from New York.

Summary of Internship

Going into this internship I knew I wanted to be in the field of business but I was not sure what area of business I was interested in. I did have some background information on marketing and I was in fact considering studying marketing in college. Because of my internship and the exposure I have decided to continue with my decision to study marketing and I am considering taking a minor in communications. On the other hand I did come to the conclusion that I want to work for a large company. I really want to go into corporate marketing once I graduate college. All in all, I would in fact recommend this internship to anyone who is interested in working in the business field. This internship is a great way to learn about small businesses that do a lot of business.
