Summary of Internship
As a senior in High School, I was given the opportunity to intern at Progressive Promotions. From doing tedious work at the beginning, such as inventory, to real work at the end such as calling vendors, I was able to experience the business world. I created spreadsheets, helped pack products to be shipped, created proposals and with the help of one my mentors, Noreen Schmitt, I even had the chance to step out of my comfort zone and make phone calls to other companies for their assistance. Although I have a lot more to learn, through the cooperation of my mentors and the internship itself, I can say I am more knowledgeable than I ever was about the business world.
