Summary of Internship
Interning in Hana Grand Pharmacy has given me a deeper understanding of the pharmaceutical business. As an intern, I help pharmacists with various kinds of work. It is a retail store, which means that the flow of clients coming in and out of the store really depends on how hard both employer and employees work for the clients. Thus, it is important for me to show professionalism and kindness to customers. When a patient visits the pharmacy to pick up medications, I hand out the medications. My role in the pharmacy is limited in a way that I am not licensed to actually handle drugs. I am responsible for the cleanness of the store. Every morning, I would bring paper towels and clean items. I spend most of my time working at the counter, and I bring out, scan them, and sell them to customers. I pick up phone calls, and I observe my mentor whenever he prepares medications for patients.
