Summary of Internship
As an intern for Ms. McGrath, freshman and junior English teacher, itís my job to assist her with various tasks throughout the day. I help her grade a lot of objective assignments, file, and make copies. I have also taken over classes with a substitute when she is not here, which has helped me confidently guide younger students. I have observed many class discussions, and have seen first hand how much the freshman and juniors have changed throughout the year. They have learned to read, write, and eloquently express their ideas. Furthermore, I have also helped Ms. McGrath organize and keep track of assignments. Senior Experience has helped me realize the importance of education. Successfully being able to teach and communicate with students is the key to helping them strive and to guarantee them bright future.
