Summary of Internship
Summary of Internship
As an intern at the Comedy Cures Foundation, I carry out many tasks of the nonprofit world. I help out my mentor with database very often. This includes organizing the information of patients, donors, doctors, care takers and other companies. In addition every week I record the Comedy Cures Laugh Line, which is a phone line that recites a daily joke to bring light to the callerís day. Outside of the office I work at the many Comedy Cures events. These events include
Laughing Lunch, Fundraising events and the Comedy Cures auction. At these events I have the most fun. Seeing people laugh and rooms filled with happiness really inspires me to be the best person I can be and to always give back to my community. My responsibilities range from setting up and commanding the AV systems, to photography, helping with seating, putting together goodies bags and sometimes announcing the show. There is a wide range of opportunities at this organization. And no matter how big or small my job is at the foundation they always make me feel apart of the Comedy Cures family
